9-11 and Never Forget

 

Nineteen years ago on 9-11-2001, American came together as a nation during a tragic time. I remember representatives of Congress praying on the steps of the Capitol, and the President quoted Psalm 23 in his nationwide address. Not one protest demanding separation of church and state. No one called for the defunding of the police but quite the contrary. Images such as this one were everywhere. Our first responders were heroes and celebrated as such.

Every year on the anniversary we see slogans saying "Never Forget," but it sure seems like some have forgotten who our heroes are. Can we recover? I hope so, but the only way will be at the ballot box. Below are some links to organizations that are committed to protecting our 2nd Amendment rights
