The Cost of Joe Biden's Gun Policy - $3.6 Billion

We are only eight days away from the election, and it is crucial to get the word out about what Joe Biden intends to do regarding our 2nd Amendment Rights.

None of the debates addressed the 2nd Amendment, and I believe this is the mainstream media protecting Joe Biden because they know gun control doesn't sell to middle America.

First, Joe Biden and the Left plan on eliminating our 2nd Amendment Right.

  • They will ban the purchase of "assault weapons."
  • They will decimate the retail gun industry by eliminating the online sale of guns and limiting the purchase of guns to one per month.
  • They will cause most manufacturers to go out of business by eliminating their protection from frivolous non-product liability lawsuits.
  • They will tax gun owners for their current firearms and magazines.

Let's discuss the last point. Biden plans to regulate existing "assault weapons" and "high capacity" magazines under the National Firearms Act. This will require owners to register their existing firearms and magazines and pay a $200 tax per firearm or magazine. If you fail to register and turn in your firearm, you will become a felon.

As an FFL in Texas, I have a sense of firearm ownership, and I would say it would not be unreasonable for the average owner to possess 6 "assault weapons" and 20 high capacity rifle and pistol magazines. This means a person could incur a tax of $5,200. I also know many people that will be 10 times this number.

Joe Biden is going to destroy our rights and the gun industry.

Please vote against Joe Biden and encourage anyone you know who values our 2nd Amendment rights that they need to vote that way as well.

Joe Biden Finally Does a Public Event — But Then Immediately Regrets It

Symposium: Barrett’s history-first approach to the Second Amendment

In her dissent, Barrett sided with Kanter. She suggested that, when assessing the constitutionality of gun restrictions, courts should look to “history and tradition” to see whether there is a historical precedent for the restriction at issue. Under that test, only restrictions with historical analogues would be upheld as permissible under the Second Amendment.

Biden’s gun agenda could cost AR-15 owners $3.6 billion in taxes on firearms they already own

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s proposed gun control policy includes a provision that could require every AR-15 rifle be registered under the National Firearms Act of 1934. Unless there were some form of carve-out, this could mandate that American gun owners pay a $200 federal tax per AR-15 that they own.

Gun Control May be Wasting Away, But Not Because of COVID

A recent article on a gun control news site laments that the COVID-19 pandemic has thwarted ballot initiatives to expand gun bans and restrictions. Initiatives in Florida, Oklahoma, Ohio and Oregon have stalled, allegedly due to the difficulty in collecting signatures. “Without the pandemic, we certainly would have been able to collect the signatures that we needed,” says a supporter of the Oregon initiatives.recent article

There Were No Second Amendment Questions In Any Of The Presidential Debates

There were no questions about the Second Amendment in the 2020 presidential debates or the vice presidential debate, despite record gun sales in the U.S.

Time to Vote

Now is the time to get out and vote.

I thought the 2016 election was critical for our country and the direction it was heading. While that was true, we have now taken it to a whole 'nother level.

From Black Lives Matter, Antifa, Transition Integrity Project, court packing, the mainstream media and big tech bias, we are at risk of losing this country and our 2nd Amendment rights.

I recommend watching Trump Card to get a perspective on where this country is heading and how the Left is taking us there.

We need to get out and vote and get as many other people to vote as well. I believe this election will be decided by turnout.

By looking at the crowds at Trump rallies versus Biden rallies, it appears that the excitement is on the side of Trump. But, if you believe the polls, Trump is down double digits and probably needs to concede now.

Vote and encourage anyone you know who values our 2nd Amendment rights that they need to vote.

Levin: Do you choose liberty or tyranny?

For most of us, there are few if any opportunities to demonstrate our devotion to this great nation. Those among us who join the military or law enforcement and protect our people from foes, foreign and domestic, are small in number. Yet we have the power to determine our own fate and the fate of our nation by the simple act of voting.

FBI Statistics: At Least 4 Times More People Were Killed With Knives Than “Assault Rifles” Last Year

There isn’t a breakdown of what percent of victims were killed by regular rifles vs. “assault rifles,” so we only know that at least four times as many were killed by knives that assault rifles, but it is likely much higher. Even if the split is 50/50 it would imply that eight times as many people are killed every year by knives than assault rifles. Of course, this is a meaningless distinction because the only real differences between “assault” rifles and ordinary rifles are cosmetic, and isn’t every weapon an “assault weapon” if you think about it?

Christians with guns as American as apple pie

Imagine if you will a place where kids as young as 3 years old are taught to handle a firearm — where women with increasing frequency are trained to defend self and family with guns — where middle-schoolers and high-schoolers alike are both competent and competitive at ready-aim-and-firing — and where going to church on Sunday is as natural as hitting the shooting range on Monday.

Twilight zone?

Does Owning a Gun Make a Judge's Second Amendment Rulings Suspect?

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R–S.C.) was trying to help out Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett when he asked her whether she owns a gun during her confirmation hearing yesterday. But the premise of his question—that gun ownership might be viewed as disqualifying a judge from dealing fairly with cases involving the Second Amendment—could not be more absurd.

Who is Amy Coney Barrett?

Who is Amy Coney Barrett?

She is 48 years old and grew up outside of New Orleans in Metairie, Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree from Rhodes College and earned her law degree from Notre Dame, where she graduated first in her class.

She has been married to her husband, Jesse, since 1999. They have seven children together, two of which were adopted from Haiti. She is a practicing Catholic and currently lives in South Bend, Indiana.

She clerked for the late Justice Antonin Scalia from 1998 to 1999 and spent a few years practicing law before moving into academia. Federal courts, constitutional law and statutory interpretation are the subjects she taught at Notre Dame, where she was named Professor of the Year three times. In 2010, she became a full professor of law.

President Trump nominated her to the 7th circuit in May 8, 2017, and she received bipartisan support at her confirmation hearing. 450 former students signed a letter to the Judiciary Committing telling senators that Professor Barrett was supremely qualified. Also, she received unanimous support from her Notre Dame colleagues who stated that despite their wide range of political views, they were united in their judgment of Amy.

As a judge she has been described as a “champion of originalism."

On the appeals court, she wrote a dissenting opinion in Kanter v Barr that gives us a glimpse of how she will rule on 2nd Amendment cases in the future. The plaintiff, who had been accused of a white-collar crime, argued that the federal and state laws that prohibit people convicted of felonies from having guns violate his second amendment right to bear arms. Barrett said at the country's founding, legislatures took away the gun rights of people who were believed to be dangerous. She argued that the laws are too broad because they ban people from having a gun without any evidence that they pose a risk. Barrett stressed that the 2nd amendment “confers an individual right, intimately connected with the natural right of self defense and not limited to civic participation."

This approach is positive for those of us who support the 2nd Amendment.

While she doesn’t have a long judicial career with many opinions, it is believed she is a strong originalist because she has said she shares the same philosophy as Justice Scalia.

The left is going to go after her because she is conservative and an originalist. Oh, and she is Catholic.

They have already demonstrated in her confirmation to the Appellate Court that her faith is going to be a point to attack. They have already started to sink to a lower level. I have seen attacks and calls for investigations into the adoption of her two children.

The Left is a horrible bunch and shows why we have to re-elect President Trump.
