Protecting our 2A Rights - Issue 5

It has been another interesting week.  The House finally delivered the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, the Democrats and Leftists all had a pity party over the death of Qassim Suleimani, the Democrats blocked a resolution in support of the Iranians who were protesting the current regime, and a governor declared a state of emergency because a group of citizens want to gather to show their support for the 2nd Amendment.   We are on the doorstep of tyranny, in my opinion. If you aren't watching Prager U videos, then I recommend you do.  Below is one titled "Why We're Losing Liberty." In this issue the crazy in Virginia continues plus Rhode Island and Joe Biden are planning attacks on 2A.  But, there is some good news at the end of the newsletter, though! Virginia Governor to Declare State Emergency to Prevent Lawful Carry at 2A Rally Just days before a planned gun-rights protest in the state capitol, Democratic Governor Ralph Northam plans to declare an emergency later today banning all weapons, including firearms, from the Capitol Square. The Desperate Smearing Of Virginia Gun Owners Anti-gun politicians and gun control activists are busily crafting a narrative that Monday’s Lobby Day rally at the state capitol is going to be a disaster of epic proportions; a rampaging mob of militia members, white supremacists, and “gun extremists” intent on starting the Second Civil War or at least another Charlottesville. Joe Biden’s New Plan To Win Iowa Voters: Gun Control Joe Biden's presidential campaign is targeting a new series of digital ads at teachers, parents, first responders, and those supportive of gun safety legislation.  Rhode Island lawmakers to consider gun control bills in 2020 Gov. Gina Raimondo supports banning 3D guns, but she wants lawmakers to go further. She’s calling for a ban on military-style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and a ban guns in schools - changes she views as essential for public safety.

Some Good News Students for 2A Tell Anti-Gunners to 'Come and Take It Not even three weeks ago the National Rifle Association (NRA) conducted a soft launch of the Students for 2A group at Turning Point USA's Student Action Summit. In just a short period of time, the newly-formed organization has gained momentum amongst college students ages 18 to 24 and garnered more than 15,000 followers across various social media platforms.
